- Met with a mentor for sounding board purposes.

- Talked to like minded entrepreneurs to collaborate with to launch (with a small support team).
What has been the most effective way of raising awareness of your business and getting new customers?
Honestly word of mouth and constant marketing through social media. Also, networking while driving for ride share companies, attending events to network and the promotional help of colleagues, friends, family, and online communities.
What have been your biggest challenges so far?
The constant financial juggle until all your hard work as an entrepreneur stabilizes in multiple streams of financial peace.
How did you overcome these challenges?
Much prayer, faith and making the commitment daily to believe in myself – my vision, dreams, gifts, talents, etc. I had to make up my mind to set out daily and work harder to achieve my dreams instead of continuing to sacrifice mine to help others live theirs.
How do you keep motivated through difficult times?
My spiritual relationship with God, constant prayer and trusting Him with everything. I am also a journal virtuoso and love to go back and read what I’ve written throughout the various seasons in my life and see how far I have come! I also post affirmation around my house using Post It notes. I also carry note cards in my purse that have my favorite scriptures written on them.
How do you distinguish yourself from your competitors?
Totally by being ME! Being ME is different… I am uniquely creative, gifted, skilled, purposed and driven “By Design”!
What is the best advice you have received recently?
To simply trust myself fully and for once in my life fuck the rules! Create my own rules and do me with no limits. My integrity, sound character and beautiful heart won’t steer me wrong and will keep me grounded in spirit and in truth. So I should have no fear of being wildly successful because I trust that I will know what to do with it in order to bless others.
What advice would you give to other entrepreneurs?
Cry but find laughter as you press through your personal and financial growing pains. Always believe in yourself. Trust your gut and define your own values, don’t just latch onto what others define as valuable.
What is your favorite business tool or resource?
The ability to reach others around the world through mobile devices, but most of all a really cool spiral notebook and a great writing pen (I’m a writer at heart).
