Creating a website and letting friends know I was in business.
What has been the most effective way of raising awareness of your business and getting new customers?
Podcasting and social media have been very effective.
What have been your biggest challenges so far?
Keeping up with technology and changes on the social media platforms.
How did you overcome these challenges?
Some of it I outsource, some I’ve chosen to learn.
How do you keep motivated through difficult times?
I love what I do and am motivated by working with my clients and seeing the breakthroughs they have.
How do you distinguish yourself from your competitors?
I’m very relational. One thing that makes me stand out is my story. I’ve lost everything twice – once to a failed business and once to a failed marriage, yet I’m resilient. I’ve also reinvented my career several times going from a successful image consultant in Chicago to owning an equine business in Colorado. I use these lessons from my life in my coaching and speaking.
