What motivated and inspired you to start your own business?
Several years ago I had a false sense of what success looked like. I somehow sensed my worth was equivalent to what I had accomplished within my Nurse Practitioner career. In my head, I thought that my many accolades would define my success and “WOW” the masses, however a few short years later… I was exposed to a different lifestyle. One that resembled freedom and leverage, very different from what I was currently experiencing in my life. Once my mind became open to what our lives could look like, I acted on the opportunity that was in front of me and never looked back.
Tell us about your business.
I am a top leader within Modere which is a home based business. Modere is a live clean brand/company with a social retail model which helps me create residual income not only on a large customer scale, but also on building teams and networks all over the world and country. I also run and operate my brand www.brittanyfrisella.com

My greatest accomplishment in life is undoubtably being a wife and mother. There is nothing that even comes close to satisfying my passion and desire to build a loving, strong, and happy home filled with joy and laughter. I’ve been in practice now for 11 years as a Family Health Nurse Practitioner. I spent an intense seven years focusing on my education in order to reach my goal to become a nurse practitioner. I have a published journal article, Interstitial Cystitis: Enhancing Early Identification in Primary Care Settings, which was published in The Journal For Nurse Practitioners, 2007;3(8):509-
Where is your business based?
My business is completely global.
What were the first few steps you took to get your business up and running?
My first step was being open to the possibilities of a “non-traditional” business as I like to say. So many people have a closed mind, I once read that our minds should operate like a parachute, it should always be open. The second step was aligning myself with a mentor. Someone who could walk me through the process of manifesting the outcome that I desired. The last step was taking action. Once I made the decision I knew that I couldn’t look back.
What has been the most effective way of raising awareness of your business and getting new customers?
Social media has been the most effective way to building my brand awareness and getting new customers. There is a science to it and thus far, it has been very effective. Between my personal social media page, my public page, live videos and my private group pages it has allowed me to create a ton of brand awareness.
What have been your biggest challenges so far?
As a leader, learning to make tough decisions quickly.
How did you overcome these challenges?
I understand that some things are out of our control. This understanding allows me to focus on solutions and not the problem. I have found that focusing on the problem never solves the challenge. I also approach my day, week, and months very proactively as opposed to reacting to it.
How do you keep motivated through difficult times?
I stay focused on the reason why I started my journey which is my family, my kids and my personal goals.
How do you distinguish yourself from your competitors?
I stay focused on being true to who I am. I am the only one born with my finger print, as long as I stay focused on being the best version of myself then I already have separated myself from the competition.
What is the best advice you have received recently?
Be crazy enough to know that everything is possible!
What advice would you give to other entrepreneurs?
Don’t let anyone who has a small mind talk you out of your big dreams. The world needs more people who live a life of passion and purpose.
What is your favorite business tool or resource?
Honestly, the best business tool for me has aways been being a product of the company products that I’m partnered with. Personal experience and word of mouth advertising are second to none.
