Leila Laura is a Love Karma Expert. She works with successful people to help them gain more success in their life through the power of love.
What motivated and inspired you to start your own business?
My own struggle. When I first experienced Karma healing work, I was really struggling in my life. I am a survivor of incest through my developmental years and dealing with the after effects of that.
I was also really sick with Lyme disease, was having panic attacks on a regular basis, and was technically homeless. I was living with 2 of my friends at the time and one of them was the first to recognize that I wasn’t mentally ill but that several co-infections were making me sick. So, I decided to start with Karma healing work to help me get past many of these struggles.
When I went to my teacher for my first session, I was totally terrified. But, when I left, I stopped having daily panic attacks. A couple of months into working with him, the whole process of going through Love Karma and my entire love history, I was beginning to see all of these illnesses and struggles begin to heal.
Tell us about your business.
My programs go through the whole love process, including business, romantic relationships, etc. And when people go through this program, you start to see the changes in their illnesses, depression, relationships, success, etc.
I work with people through private Soul Elevation to connect people with their dream life and remove any energetic blocks to help make that happen.
Our company culture is love, respect, excellence of service. That is what people receive through all the ways they work with me and the interactions with my team members.
I don’t have a college degree or any prestigious awards next to my name, but what I’ve done in my career is followed the guidance I’ve been given that has helped me grow a successful business.
My biggest successes have been my clients’ results, including helping a woman conceive and carry a baby full term after several miscarriages without in vitro at age 41.
I’ve helped many clients fall in love with themselves, fall in love for the first time, healed unexplained rashes that weren’t going away with modern medicine, just to name a few.
Where is your business based?
Virtually – I work with clients all over the world!
What were the first few steps you took to get your business up and running?
My business was completely organic and referral based for the first two years. People who had known me and seen me at my worst were telling me how happy and radiant I was now.
I was actually going to a yoga class after I got my business certification and I had a friend come up to me and tell me how amazing I looked. I told her I was taking clients and she had just been told that she was going to meet someone who would heal her.
We worked for two years together and she is now in a completely different place in her life. That’s really where I can trace the start of my business back to.
A few months after I started, I met my husband at the gym where he was working as a personal trainer. But, it took years for us to get together because I wasn’t energetically aligned to receive love. He had been going to a relationship therapist at the time, and then started working with me to clear his Love Karma.
So, my entire business was referral based and was such a crazy start. But, when your business is energetically aligned, people will start coming to you.
What has been the most effective way of raising awareness of your business and getting new customers?
Excellence of service. I am a stickler about it. When you really hear people, listen to them, acknowledge them, and help heal them, there is no way that they aren’t going to want to come back.
What have been your biggest challenges so far?
Switching into investment pricing was really hard. It was hard to tell people that I couldn’t work with them anymore. I genuinely love people, so it was hard to turn away people I knew needed my services.
But, I was becoming really sick and depleted because I was giving so much of my time and energy to other people. When switching to my current Soul Elevation program, I switched to a very results-based service where people can open up to heal their Love Karma.
How did you overcome these challenges?
Applying my own work to myself and seeking out mentors who could help me. A lot of it is in the mental process where I could reach out to my business coach.
I had to get my head around the fact that the more money my business makes, the more money I can help other people make.
And the more influencers I work with to help shift their vibrations, the more of a ripple effect in the world I have that will raise that vibration and help others experience healing.
How do you keep motivated through difficult times?
I keep myself surrounded by really amazing people. I only have close friends that are authentic and those people want to see me succeed.
I make sure I always have the support I need with a business coach, mentors, my team, etc. so I can keep a high vibration for myself and my clients.
How do you distinguish yourself from your competitors?
I have the ability to see energy, to hear guidance from people’s guides and highest self, and I’m able to see Karma blocks. A lot of people have a skewed view of Karma.
A love coach or relationship coach can help you have a good dating profile or improve how you act or what you say on a date or in a relationship, but if you’re a failed romantic, then it’s going to be really hard to allow in a romantic partner no matter how much coaching you have.
I can see the things that keep and individual stuck and help clear that.
What is the best advice you have received recently?
Take you out of it. How can I serve others better.
What advice would you give to other entrepreneurs?
Make sure you are taking care of yourself first, and that your energy is in alignment with your business.
What are your favorite business tools/resources and why?
An administrative assistant, social media person, and my publicist. They have simplified my life and are aligned with my business so they add energy to my business instead of taking it away. And Acuity Scheduling.
What is a good article or book you have read recently?
The Divinity of the Human Soul Volume 7 by Hazrat Inayat Khan.
What are you currently learning about for your business or looking for help with?
I’m learning about team management. I have four employees and I’m learning to lead and manage my team so that is empowering, supportive, and energizing for everyone.
What are your goals for the next few months and how are you striving to achieve them?
For those who are in the Massachusetts area or coming to Boston, I am hosting a Love Karma event in February. My goals are sharing my Soul Elevation work and Karma healing with as many people as possible.
I plan on taking time to connect with publications like Lady Boss Blogger, and opening my heart to new people.
