What motivated and inspired you to start your own business?
My motivation to start my own business came from my rebellious spirit, I’m known as #RebelRobb, but it comes from a good place. I’m a free-spirit, so my need to be free to be myself, and be compensated fairly to match the energy I put into anything I’m apart of.
Tell us about your business.
I have a realty business and I’m also a property manager. The things that give me great joy and make me feel that I’m living my purpose is being an author, speaker and “Soul Coach”. It’s like a life coach but there’s a slight difference. There are no limits to my potential earnings.
Are you currently running any promos/contests/giveaways that you would like our readers to know about?
Yes! Currently my first book, a self-help book, called “Turn on the Lights (So You Can See)” is available on Kindle for only $2.99. I also have an aromatherapy line of products, Meditation Mist and Manifestation Mist available as great stocking stuffer gifts. They are very special, magical gifts that will truly assist in creating what you desire. All available through my website! www.LatishaRobb.com
Where is your business based?
My business is based in Atlanta, GA however we have an international reach.
What were the first few steps you took to get your business up and running?
Step one was about getting educated about my industry and getting licensed. Knowledge is a strong part of the foundation of any successful business.
What has been the most effective way of raising awareness of your business and getting new customers?
I’m a natural leader so leading through example, and by always being myself, I have been effective in my business. Clients and projects are attracted to me because I am emitting the frequency that is needed to receive new clients as well as respect from colleagues in my field. I’m a huge believer of putting out positive vibes/energy to attract desired results. It also acts in reverse.
What have been your biggest challenges so far?
Being a woman in a male dominated industry has been a big challenge for me. Navigating the waters of being a natural alpha female in mostly male environments has been the most challenging.
How did you overcome these challenges?
By staying consistent, keeping emotions in check, and working twice as hard, I show and prove.
How do you keep motivated through difficult times?
My faith in God has been my GO-TO to help sharpen my motivation through difficult times. I believe you have to “finance your faith” in order to manifest true hearts desires. God places those things in your heart and I study myself to be worthy of all things good. Many don’t take into account their lack of faith is the reason for their discontentment.
How do you distinguish yourself from your competitors?
I have adopted the blue ocean strategy, meaning that there is no competition in my world. I am my own competition. By moving in a way that is unique to me and my abilities, I am allowed to move freely and able to congratulate others on their successes.
What is the best advice you have received recently?
“Life isn’t happening to me, it’s responding.”
What advice would you give to other entrepreneurs?
Remember why you started. You’re only going to get out what you put in. The law of reciprocity is real.
What is your favorite business tool or resource?
Meditation and Visualization are my favorite resources. I love to utilize the power of the Universe. There is no stronger earthly tool available that is more resourceful than seeing the life you want in your mind and watching it come to pass. By doing this I have been crowned a #ManifestQueen.
What social media outlets do you use? List them below.
What is a good article or book you have read recently?
Not to toot my own horn but I’ve recently re-read my own books. My first book, “Turn On The Lights (So You Can See)”, it’s part self-help, part memoir and takes the reader on a journey of how I allowed darkness in my life to lead me into the light. The chapters I keep reading specifically are the chapters on Control Dramas or emotional vampires. My second book, “What You Don’t Know About Your Soul” is a great reminder about Universal Laws, gems to stay well versed on.
What are you currently learning about for your business or looking for help with?
I’m currently learning that together we can do anything. I am always looking for other like minded individuals to partner with and reciprocate energy. No one can truly make it on their own.
What are your goals for the next few months and how are you striving to achieve them?
My goals for the next few months are to continue to grow the relationships cultivated and become the largest Veterans placement agent in GA. Also to get a few projects that I have been working on for a couple of years a platform. I have made some wonderful connections for these things to happen. I just have to follow through genuinely and watch my dreams come to pass.
