Real Estate Expert and Consumer Advocate, Arnee’ Harrison, an Augusta, Georgia native, now Southwest Atlanta resident, serves as Associate Broker for her Sales Team, The Owner Suite, at Apollo Associates Realty in the heart of The City of Atlanta.
Over a span of 16 years as a Real Estate Consultant, Harrison’s experience includes extensive work as a Certified Real Estate Appraiser, Sales Trainer for Xfinity (Comcast), Short Sale Adviser and Real Estate Portfolio Asset Manager.
Harrison’s current station as Sales Manager at Apollo Associates is the perfect marriage of her Sales Expertise and Apollo’s 44+ years of servicing the Atlanta Metropolitan corridor. Harrison not only exemplifies the high standard of ethics that upholds the Apollo legacy, “Service First since 1974,” she also seeks to carry the torch that continues to make The Owner Suite a cornerstone resource for Atlanta residents and transients. The Owner Suite specializes in commercial and residential sales and leasing.
What motivated and inspired you to start your own business?
From a young age, I watched my parents dote on our house. We cut grass, grew flowers, planted vegetables and we left that house with many growing pains and memories. At age 22, I purchased my first home and to this day I still visit my childhood home, which is now a rental, but the significance of having a home base is so important.
I wanted to create that feeling of security for others; this, coupled with my untimely admittance that I was not cut out to be the traditional 9-5er, resolved me to plow my own path; Thus, The Owner Suite was born.
Tell us about your business.
The Owner Suite is a Real Estate Concierge focused on driving Commercial and Residential ownership throughout the State of Georgia.
We promote home ownership, business ownership and financial literacy through our culture building events, educational tutorials and client consultations.
Are you currently running any promos/contests/giveaways that you would like our readers to know about?
Yes! The Owner’s Lounge, a West End Community Appreciation Event, open to current and aspiring residents of the Historic West End is scheduled for July 3rd at the historic landmark, Wren’s Nest beginning 6pm.
The Owner Suite launch event is scheduled for June 5th at Trilogy Lifestyle Lounge, 375-B Luckie St NW Atlanta, GA 30313. This gathering is geared towards bridging a motivational alliance between my previous and potential clients while formally introducing the brand to the City of Atlanta. This event will begin at 7pm, open to the general public.
The Owner Suite was recently acknowledged for real estate acquisition of one of the most highly anticipated Atlanta restaurants opening in 2018. I was also just recently licensed as a Real Estate Broker in the State of Georgia.
Where is your business based?
The Owner Suite is based out of Apollo Associates Realty located in the historic West End Community in the heart of the City of Atlanta. We service Residential and Commercial Real Estate consumers throughout the State of Georgia.
What were the first few steps you took to get your business up and running?
Everything we do at The Owner Suite begins with education. Hundreds of hours have been spent studying real estate news, city planning, transaction history, and related subjects that affect real estate trends.
We pride ourselves on being able to not only close transactions for our clientele, we ensure understanding throughout the process and strive to educate each new homeowner on how to maintain and inspire ways to multiply their wealth.
Additionally, we’ve sought out the best ways to visually engage in this ever-changing market while still placing current clients into winning positions to become our next testimonies.
Lastly, we’ve carved out the most authentic campaign and pushed forward where we now find ourselves here with YOU!
What has been the most effective way of raising awareness of your business and getting new customers?
The most effective vehicle that has grown The Owner Suite is referrals from successful client experiences. The Owner Suite is involved in several community events here in Atlanta and surrounding areas, all the way back to my hometown in Augusta, GA. Additionally, we are proud of our recent growing influence on social media.
What have been your biggest challenges so far?
Our biggest challenge has been overcoming client fear of commitment in a society that constantly promotes microwave success and diversions from the responsibility of ownership in certain demographic areas.
How did you overcome these challenges?
We have overcome this challenge by continuing to produce owners and our new initiative (which is a little private, but I’ll give LadyBossBlogger readers the inside scoop), we are now hosting private events pairing new clients with past clients to share experiences and to drive the narrative of education.
We highlight the long-term deficits created by not taking advantage of ownership early on. The vivid contrast between assets vs. liabilities has never been a concept that has been translated well in certain demographic areas.
How do you keep motivated through difficult times?
The Owner Suite has pretty hefty goals for the near future. We have a vision of moving the needle on the percentages of home and business ownership in our community while remaining focused on the work and the impact its success will have on creating generational wealth for our future keeps us more than motivated!
How do you distinguish yourself from your competitors?
I don’t believe in competition amongst people who share a common goal. The Owner Suite seeks to align itself with industry peers who share our passion and desire the best end-results for our clients. This will be an ongoing effort as we strive to serve as a conduit in bringing the best quality professionals together to push toward the mark.
What is the best advice you have received recently?
Honestly, “Everything that you want is just on the other side of fear…”
What advice would you give to other entrepreneurs?
Define your big picture, value and protect your brand at ALL COSTS.
What is a good article or book you have read recently?
“You are the Universe” by Deepak Chopra. It is my belief that all success and failure begins with self. Self-control, discipline and fulfillment are the benchmarks by which you can measure true “success.”
What are you currently learning about for your business or looking for help with?
The Owner Suite is seeking professional partnerships to align our brand with that support and help improve our service experience. I believe it’s important to pool resources and knowledge to maximize results for the people we serve.
What are your goals for the next few months and how are you striving to achieve them?
Over the next few months, I would like to broaden our reach and spread awareness. I want as many people and businesses as possible to learn more about The Owner Suite, and join our movement to impact our communities through the pride of ownership.
At one point in American history, the only people allowed to vote were landowners, which should speak volumes to the significance of this simple concept. Ownership builds communities. As a woman in real estate, I seek to humanize this experience.
I want to make this about more than just a sales transaction. I want this to build lifelong relationships that assist people in changing the landscape of their families and influence a different approach to the real estate sales lifestyle.
