Federica Attanasio And Federica Pecis Help Female Entrepreneurs Succeed Through The Power Of Digital Marketing
1. One sentence that describes what you do…
WE ARE F helps female entrepreneurs succeed through the power of digital marketing.
2. The first thing I do when I wake up
FP: I check my emails on the phone. I know I shouldn’t do it and I’m trying to have a healthier routine in the morning, but when you run your own business there are so many things to take care of and sometimes you just forget that you also have to take care of your wellbeing and mental health. This is my new year’s resolution for 2020, ask me this question in a couple of months and let’s see if I stayed true to my good intentions.
FA: I swear at the alarm, trip on the rug, put the coffee on, light a vanilla candle and check my emails while eating peanut butter on toast.
3. The quote I live by…
FP: “Don’t go where the path may lead; go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.” When I decided to quit my corporate job in Italy and move to London, I knew I wanted to start my own thing but I didn’t know exactly what to do or where to start. The only thing I knew was that I wanted to choose my own destiny and I didn’t want to be a spectator of my own life.Don’t go where the path may lead; go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.Click To Tweet
FA: “Say yes and you’ll figure it out afterwards.” Which is exactly what I did when Federica came to me one day and said “ We should run our own agency”. Still haven’t regretted it.
4. My favorite business tools are…
FP: Google Drive to share documents with the team, Xero for accountancy, Slack to communicate with the team and with clients.
FA: Google Drive to share everything, Canva and photoshop for graphic designs and picture editing, SEM Rush and Moz are great tools for SEO, backlink building and reporting.
Slack, obviously, to be very annoying to my team by keep sending awkward pictures of their zoomed faces on bad photos.
5. On my bookshelf, you will find…
FP: Eva Luna by Isabel Allende – It was a Christmas gift I received from one of my best friends this year. I love receiving books as presents, it’s a very personal and intimate gift.
FA: The secret history of Twin Peaks” by Mark Frost We have two exact copies on the shelf as I believe my boyfriend just gave me his as our first Christmas Gift (he forgot to get me one) therefore, he bought himself a new one – he will laugh at this a lot when he reads it.
6. Every woman needs to try this at least once…
FP: A day at the SPA to recharge and find some me-time.
FA: Give yourself a break.
7. My favorite beauty brands and items…
FP: I recently started using Kaviaar Care face serum, day cream and night cream. It’s a French brand that uses a combination of caviar and hyaluronic acid which is absolutely amazing on the skin. I’m also a huge fan of Sothys, another French brand that uses amazing ingredients.
FA: I absolutely love Caudalie beauty products, made with polyphenols extracted from grape seeds. My makeup favourite is the Clinique concealer and I have an enormous collection of KIKO MILANO long-lasting lipsticks – trust me, they last! -. Lipstick is the only piece of makeup I couldn’t live without.
8. The best piece of advice I’ve ever received…
FP: My best advisor is my husband. He always gives me a good piece of advice when I need it and he’s the one who’s always there to support me in this crazy journey of being an entrepreneur. His best advice was probably: “If you really want something, just go out there, work hard and get it”.If you really want something, just go out there, work hard and get it.Click To Tweet
FA: It’s a Neapolitan saying, which translated in English says “Do something good and forget it. Do something bad and think about it.” My dad would always remind us that when we were over worrying about something we shouldn’t have worried too much about it. In a nutshell, if you know you acted with a good heart, you should never torment yourself.Do something good and forget it. Do something bad and think about it.Click To Tweet
9. Daily things you do in your business…
FP: Check emails, reply to clients, catch up with the team, call with clients, check the budget and make sure everything is under control (I’m a control freak), call the accountant, check all the social media pages and websites for both us and clients to make sure everything is running smoothly, write down new ideas, text Fede A a million times 😛
FA: I check our Instagram @weareeffedigital and its level of engagement, make sure our website is running well and all the links are in the right places, check my calendar, have a morning catch up with Fede and the team, make sure the clients are happy, look for ideas and inspiration to improve our branding and communication strategy, and then finally catch up with Fede towards the end of the day, purely to moan about life and list our physical pains like good Italians do.
10. List all your social media platforms…
