Shantel Racine Helps Women See Christ At Work In Every Aspect Of Their Lives

Shantel Racine uses her blog to spread God’s word and share her experiences as a proud wife, mom, and fashion-lover.

1. When did you start blogging? Why did you start your blog?

I started blogging about two years ago, a few months after I got married. I wanted an outlet where I could share my love for fashion and my faith. As I’ve become a mamma it’s also grown into sharing about my family life and motherhood. It’s been such an incredible journey and I love it!

2. How do you get traffic to your blog?

I’ve found the best way, is by engaging with fellow bloggers. Finding others that have the same common interests and those who are searching for what your sharing is the best place to start. I also share it through my Instagram and Facebook, so that’s a great resource as well.

3. What tools have attributed to your growth?

SEO. Search engine optimization is huge. I started learning and understanding it more after a fellow blogger recommended I do.

I especially love using the Plugin from Neil Patel on my WordPress site that helps me optimize my posts before they are completed.

4. How has faith played a part in your growth?

It’s hugely played into my growth. I’ve been able to connect with so many mom believers through this and it’s been such an encouragement and joy to find this common ground.

The other part is that finding a circle and sharing with others has been a tremendous growth opportunity as well!

5. How have you monetized your blog?

Six months after I started my blog, I reached out to do my first collaboration. From there it grew, and I’ve been able to work with over 20 brands! I also am in the RewardStyle program so I monetize through the LIKEtoKNOW.it app.

6. What are some daily things you do that attribute to your blog’s success?

Post to my Instagram and share my blog posts through there. Post outfit inspiration as well as my daily life so that people can get to know me and about my blog.

7. What is your favorite scripture?

My favorite scripture is James 4:7-8 ESV

“Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you.” I love the promise and the assurance of his nearness if I submit to him.
