Rebecca Yee Helps Children Expand Their imagination And Follow Their Dreams
1. One sentence that describes what you do…
I started a publishing and entertainment company because I truly believe kids need to embrace their imagination. Whether it be through reading a book, watching a cartoon, or coming up with their own creations. We publish books, help kids publish their books, we create animated cartoons for kids, we have an online kids art membership program to help kids create whatever their heart desires.
2. The first thing I do when I wake up…
Is take my dogs outside then make and drink a pot of coffee. I make Eric his lunch and send him off to work, then I sit and drink my coffee while I plan my workload for the day.
3. The quote I live by…
I can do all things through him who gives me strength. (Philippians 4:13)

Anything from Adobe.
- I use Photoshop and Illustrator to illustrate my books.
- I use InDesign to format my books.
- I use Animate and Character Animator to make cartoon animations.
- I use Premiere Pro and After Effects to create videos.
5. On my bookshelf, you will find…
Girl Wash Your Face by Rachel Hollis. I absolutely connected with her while reading this book. Her honesty and hard truths made me examine my life and face some realities that were holding me back.
6. Every woman needs to try this at least once…
Ziplining! It’s a rush. I first zip lined when I was 19 years old when I was volunteering at a Christian youth camp. The line ran from the side of a mountain to a lake below. It was one of the scariest jumps of my life, but also the most exhilarating.
7. My favorite beauty brands and items…
I don’t use a lot of beauty products in general, lol, I’m a simple girl. I do use Simply Earth essential oils and have a really cool diffuser to go with it.
8. The best piece of advice I’ve ever received…
My parents always told me that if I work hard and never give up, I can do anything I put my mind to. Not only did my parents tell me that, but they also lived that. My mom worked at a hospital for years in the registrar’s office.
She went to school part-time in the evenings to get her LPN license and became a nurse. She then furthered her education and got her paramedic license.
My father worked in a job he hated for over 25 years, but he built a screen-printing business on the side and had many clients and was quite successful. They taught me what it meant to never give up.

Plan, plan, plan. LOL. I have so many ideas I need to write them down and organize them constantly. But some things I do daily are write, illustrate, and animate.
