What motivated and inspired you to start your own business?
I found the need to provide a niche place for women and men to come for specific skincare & hair removal needs. Rather then going to a big spa, I found that women are looking for a more personal experience.
Tell us about your business.
My skin studio is a place where you can find the latest technology for skin rejuvenation and hair removal. I have created a skincare line that is clinical and results driven at affordable price for all skin conditions.

What were the first few steps you took to get your business up and running?
Location was important and the perfect size.
What has been the most effective way of raising awareness of your business and getting new customers?
My clients tell their family and friends in need – word of mouth.
What have been your biggest challenges so far?
How did you overcome these challenges?
I routinely send out email blast newsletters with promos & beauty tips.
How do you keep motivated through difficult times?
I do yoga – lots of stretching in the mornings. It clears my head. I love spending time with children, and cooking and sewing with my daughters.
How do you distinguish yourself from your competitors?
I’m truly passionate of my industry of all the services I provide. I don’t do anything I don’t believe in. My clients appreciate my honestly with them.
What is the best advice you have received recently?
Just go for it, there may not be tomorrow.
What advice would you give to other entrepreneurs?
Success doesn’t happen overnight. Be patient and have a drive to move you forward. You may have to take a large risk to get there – but just dive right into it!
