1. One sentence that describes what you do…
I help female entrepreneurs get publicity for their startups, so they don’t need to hire a PR firm.
2. The first thing I do when I wake up…
I’m a creature of habit, and I like to have my morning routine set. I look at the clock, put on my Fitbit, brush my teeth, make Lavazza coffee for myself, and hop on the treadmill while reading emails and watching the morning news.
I run for an hour or an hour and a half and then hop in the shower. All of this happens before 7 a.m. This helps me start the day with a clear mind and feel energized to get through the day.
3. The quote I live by…
“Don’t sweat the small stuff.”
I love this quote because if we get bogged down in the minutiae of every day, we will not be able to be productive and move forward. It’s that simple.

Make sure there’s a niche for your product or service before launching it publicly. Wow, I can go on here as no two days are ever the same. It sounds like a cliché, but it’s true.
I lead and manage the PR and branding firm Marquet.company in New York City. In this role, I oversee all marketing and client acquisition operations, and I lead all client campaigns. This is my favorite part of my job because there’s so much room to be creative as well as analytical.
As the editor-in-chief of the media company FemFounder.co, I’m charged with leading all editorial and business development activities. I also manage the team of contributors ensuring deadlines are met on time.
I’m very fortunate to do what I love as my career despite the challenges that come with being an entrepreneur.
