Through her company she aims to daily educate, empower, and promote women by offering services and resources to help them promote, market and advertise their businesses, website(s), book(s), blog(s), product(s), or service(s).
What motivated and inspired you to start your own business?
After writing books and noticing how difficult it was to land an interview with news publications and blogs. I realized that a platform was needed for upcoming businesswomen who may not have the money to pay for publicists to get the word out about their products.
Tell us about your business.
Pretty Women Hustle is a Magazine and Event Networking Company created due to the need of opportunities for new businesswomen to promote themselves and their products without breaking the bank.
Starting January 2018, we will offer 4 Seasonal Magazine Publications that showcase everyday women doing extraordinary things. We also host seasonal events to promote direct sales and small businesses in the Michigan and Tennessee area.
Are you currently running any promos/contests/giveaways that you would like our readers to know about?
We are promoting women in business through a free interview on our site. All they have to do is send in a bio and three professional photos.
Where is your business based?
What were the first few steps you took to get your business up and running?
Surrounding myself with businesswomen who are in my same field. Also joining groups that focused on promoting women in business and sharing my vision.
What has been the most effective way of raising awareness of your business and getting new customers?
Joining Facebook groups and being consistent on Facebook. I am currently working on growing my Instagram audience.
What have been your biggest challenges so far?
Staying focused on my goal ahead and not starting anything new until I’ve reached my target goal.
How did you overcome these challenges?
Reminding myself that I’m closer to my goal than when I actually started.
How do you keep motivated through difficult times?
Reading and watching others in my industry break barriers and win. I realize that if they can do it, I can as well.
How do you distinguish yourself from your competitors?
I stay true to my mission and try not to waiver from it, showing my audience that with our company you can guarantee consistency.
What is the best advice you have received recently?
“Never rush the process.”
What advice would you give to other entrepreneurs?
Just get started, you will always have an excuse on why waiting makes sense. Your audience is out there waiting for you. Just get started and the rest will follow.
What are your favorite business tools/resources and why?
Social media has been our key to getting where we are now. If you show up on social media and engage with your audience, you will see results.
