We’ve all likely felt like an ‘imposter’ at some point. You can’t always bring your A-game to a situation, especially when you feel out of place or alienated from your working or social environment for whatever reason. This guide exists to help you avoid impostor syndrome and become more confident in yourself no matter where you are and what you do.
Don’t rely on external validation
If you are constantly seeking to be validated, that means you don’t value yourself and what you have to offer. You may also be feeling inadequate because you chose to act before you were ready, which by the way, is totally fine! The more you push yourself towards being uncomfortable, the more you will grow. Staying outside of your comfort zone should also be considered the most important thing to do when you’re desire is to learn.
Don’t be afraid to ask for help
For some reason, some entrepreneurs think that they have to figure out everything on their own, this is the only way they can be ‘legit’. But the truth is, most entrepreneurs have a mentor who has shown them the way. There isn’t an official school for entrepreneurship as of yet, so it may be hard to find the resources you need that actually work, but if you don’t try and ask for help, you will never grow! For some entrepreneurs, English isn’t their first language and something they struggle with is being able to put their ideas down on paper. Here is a resource to help if that is the case for you: Effortless English Club.
Don’t forget to own your victories
You have to be able to acknowledge your victories, no matter how small they are, when they present themselves. Regardless if you got 1 new follower or 250 new followers in a day, acknowledge it, celebrate it, and push forward to be better the next day. You can only go up from here, so stop being so hard on yourself and start celebrating your way to victory!

And don’t be a victim. I’d add that.
