What motivated and inspired you to start your own business?
I was a stay at home mom and when I had great success getting my body into an alkaline state, I knew I HAD to share these amazing results with others. I’ve always struggled with my autoimmune disease and weight and lack of energy. When I was able to cut my size in HALF plus kick my meds to the curb, I knew this was the answer!
Tell us about your business.
I help others get their bodies into an alkaline state so they can lose weight, build lean muscle, boost energy, sleep well, reduce inflammation, have better digestion and prevent diseases. I coach each person along their journey and am here for support and help all the way!
Are you currently running any promos/contests/giveaways that you would like our readers to know about?
I’m beyond excited to do a drawing for a free membership ($29 value) to get your products at wholesale prices to anyone who lets me know they read my interview through ladybossblogger!
List awards/certifications/accomplishments.
- I am a manager through the company I use for our amazing nutrition products!
- I have attended training events and calls to become knowledgeable about the products.
Where is your business based?
Home-based.
What were the first few steps you took to get your business up and running?
I used the products, I had results, so I shared about it! I used social media and then I plugged into daily training calls and attend events to get very knowledgeable about how and why these products work.
What has been the most effective way of raising awareness of your business and getting new customers?
Sharing my own personal story on Facebook and reaching out to people who are looking for a solution.
What have been your biggest challenges so far?
Since I’m a stay at home mom, it’s hard for me to meet new people in order to make connections.
How did you overcome these challenges?
I try my best to get involved in social groups, like joining a new bunco group and I always make sure to meet as many people as I can at the kids schools and sporting events. I’m also in the process of looking into becoming a personal trainer.
How do you keep motivated through difficult times?
My family keeps me pushing on. I need to help others so they can see my passion and love for what I do.
How do you distinguish yourself from your competitors?
The company I align myself with is the only full-body cellular cleansing company, which means that your cells are actually scrubbed of the toxins that are stored daily from the environment and the food we eat. Our immune system, which has to process all of these foreign pollutants, just can’t keep up! The food we eat is nutritionally deficient and nutritionally bankrupt, therefore we NEED supplements that are higher than organic standards and designed to alkaline our bodies and FUEL them to help them heal naturally.
What is the best advice you have received recently?
I saw a meme that says, “You can watch me, mock me, block me or join me, but what you cannot do is stop me. I just LOVE this and it’s the truth! I share health and all I want is for everyone to live naturally happy, healthy lives.
What advice would you give to other entrepreneurs?
Take it one day at a time. Make a plan and stick to it. Set up your weekly schedule. Don’t let others get you down. Find or create a support system. You CAN do anything! Do it with passion!
What is your favorite business tool or resource?
My planner! I have everything written down in it so I know who to talk to on what day and the reason. I also love my big white board to set my goal and see the big picture of my clients.

What is a good article or book you have read recently?
“Excuse Me Your Life Is Waiting” by Lynn Grabhorn is one of my favorites!
What are you currently learning about for your business or looking for help with?
I’m looking into becoming a personal trainer because I LOVE to work out and I’ve learned a lot so I think it’s time I start tying that into my health coach biz!
What are your goals for the next few months and how are you striving to achieve them?
Definitely move forward with the personal trainer dream! Stay consistent and focused! I’m not interested in returning to corporate America, so health coaching and personal training are my way to stay out of that!
