What motivated and inspired you to start your own business?
I was interviewing financial service representatives across the United States to determine the successful characteristics of million dollar producers, what I found was so revealing in what people do and don’t do in their businesses. After my interviews were conducted, I started informally coaching new and struggling financial service reps for a few years which led to me starting my own business.
Tell us about your business.
I provide one-on-one strategy sessions with financial service representatives assisting women who are struggling with building their business and expanding their clients. I enjoy specializing in women because I want women to succeed. Also during my interviews, one executive told me the reason he thought women were at a disadvantage… and his reason startled me because it was so discriminatory. He told me that he couldn’t mentor women like he mentors men. He couldn’t invite a woman on his boat to go deep sea fishing or to his cabin for a weekend get away with another group of men – and that is where the real mentoring is done.
