Andrea Patrick is one of the most passionate people you’ll ever meet. After going through a personal epiphany, she discovered a process for manifesting one’s TRUE WHY in life and business. Her desire is to help others discover their “true why” and then apply it to a clear, consistent and authentic way of expression. Her motto is: “Live your value, Love yourself enough to be yourself, and Lead with purpose.”
What motivated and inspired you to start your own business?
I have always loved making people look and feel their best. My degree is in marketing, I also have a cosmetology degree and a natural desire to help others. I went through a transition in my life that caused me to look in the mirror instead of at others and found strength, confidence and my authentic self. I realized this was the key to business success, so I shifted the focus of my business to meet this need in other entrepreneurs.
Tell us about your business.
Andrea Patrick Consulting is a boutique marketing company focused on what I believe is the foundational trifecta of a successful brand;
- Clarity
- Consistency
- Authenticity
I achieve this through my signature program;
- B-Fluence – my online magazine
- Authentic Style – my podcast
- P.B. & Style – my blog posts, and a little coaching
Are you currently running any promos/contests/giveaways that you would like our readers to know about?
I am always looking for advertisers for my magazine and my podcast and have a promotion package where advertisers would receive a 30 second commercial in my podcast with a 6 month commitment to an ad in the magazine. Also, I’ve recently added speaking to my repertoire so I’m offering FREE (local) and discounted rates with paid travel and accommodation expenses.
List awards/certifications/accomplishments.
I have my BS in Marketing. I’m a licensed cosmetologist with 20+ years of experience making people and businesses look AMAZING.

What have been your biggest challenges so far?
My subject is an abstract form of marketing. It’s sometimes difficult to explain to startups the importance of brand personification and also making the transition to a digital business.
How did you overcome these challenges?
I’m still working on the digital piece, hence… this LadyBoss Interview, lol!
How do you keep motivated through difficult times?
I just keep putting one foot in front of the other. I teach my clients the importance of clarity, consistency, and authenticity so I practice what I preach.
How do you distinguish yourself from your competitors?
No one can be Andrea, but me! I’m authentic and I’m the only one who can do what I do THE WAY I DO IT. I have no competition when I think like this.
What is the best advice you have received recently?
It’s going to sound simplistic and like I should have known it already (and I did but I love what I do and sometimes get lost in the content writing and fall behind doing what makes me money), but I was reminded to do income producing activities first.
What advice would you give to other entrepreneurs?
“Learn yourself in a way that makes you love yourself and gives you confidence in just being yourself so you can share yourself as a leader and influencer in your industry.” ~Andrea Patrick
