When I started working as a social media marketing manager, I spent hours and hours on my phone and computer. It got to the point that I wasn’t sleeping because I was afraid I would miss some comment or miss the window of opportunity for the top times to post.
The most valuable resource we have – that’s nonrenewable – is time. So I put together this list of top 5 tools to help you save time on Instagram.
This way you can enjoy being present with your loved ones and watch your business grow faster. Why faster? Because when you are tired, overworking, and frustrated with how much time it takes to stay on top of the game, you are not showing or giving your best.
Let’s dive into those 5 tools so you can sit back and enjoy your life again.
Websta.me
Available: Desktop
Websta.me is an analytics website for Instagram users. It offers Instagram users easy-to-understand data and statistics about their Instagram accounts, which can help them make smart marketing decisions. You can research specific hashtags, engage with users and comment on your own or other people’s posts directly from your computer. It will show you the top liked and top commented posts of yours so you can see what your audience likes the most and give them more of it.
WordSwag.co
Available: App
They say that a picture is worth a thousand words, right? So make sure you’re using the best pictures! You can download the WordSwag app and use their templates with royalty free photos or upload your own. This app offers different font styles which can help you create amazing quotes and offers for your clients while helping you stay on brand with each clients’ style.
Planoly.com
Available: Desktop and App
Planoly is first visual planner and scheduler for Instagram. You can visually plan your feed, write your captions and also store your hashtags when it’s time to post. Planoly sends you notifications when it’s time to post so all you need to do is press share. Here is where the batching comes so useful. Take one day in the week to plan out your posts for the entire week. This way you’re not frustrated with what and when to post. Plus, your feed will always be on brand because you can see how it will all look ahead of time.
Canva.com
Available: Desktop and App
I use Canva daily. It is free tool that helps you design professional looking blog graphics, presentations, Facebook covers, flyers, posters, invitations, diplomas and much more. There are many free templates and you can create them for both print or web. It is super easy to use and definitely a time and life saver when you are on a budget and don’t want to pay for graphic designer!
Gridsapp.com
Available: Desktop
This is my new toy and newest app I just discovered. Grids is another tool that allows you to use Instagram on your desktop. You can watch Insta stories there and have multiple accounts if you pay $8.99. Otherwise it is free. The best part, besides being able to watch Insta stories from your desktop, is that you can also also reply to your DM messages!
I hope that these 5 tools will save you time and maybe even relationships – because we want to build a business we love so we can live a life of freedom and not become slaves to our business and social media.

Great list! I am aware of planoly and canva, I’ll give the other 3 a try. I usually work with influencers on instagram and one way to save time in choosing the right influencer for you and of course to avoid fake influencers I use something like the influencerauditor.com 🙂
