As a full-time woman in the marketing field and a small business owner, I’m always conscious about utilizing my time in the best manner. These 5 resources, have helped to keep my small business organized and running efficiently.
When starting my podcast, I had to take some time to learn what platform I wanted to use. After researching, I really like this platform, because I can record, right from my phone. In only a matter of minutes, Zoom sends the link and I can share on all of my social media. The clarity of the podcast is great and it’s very user-friendly!
A great way to keep track of your business finances is to use a company or platform such as Quickbooks. This is a way to keep track of all expenses and income and it’s easy to pull a report, at any time.
Insightly is a great resource for saving/managing your contacts among other uses. It’s been helpful for me, whenever I add a contact name/email into my phone contacts and send their email to Insightly (using a specific Insightly address) their email and contact are saved in Insightly within a short time.
Back-up Platforms
Google Drive and Dropbox are great resources for back-ups. I save my files, every six months, to an external hard drive and these platforms as well. It’s so essential to have a back-up system for your files.
LinkedIn has been an amazing resource for me, in connecting with other business people. I’ve also used it as a resource to connect with other authors for advice and as a resource for my upcoming book for women in business.
The best resource is yourself! Be your own voice, make connections, network, research and work hard.
