What motivated and inspired you to start your own business?
After getting my degree in life coaching, I knew I wanted to help female entrepreneurs build their businesses. My passion is helping women achieve goals so this came natural to me to begin my business in coaching!
Tell us about your business.
My business has the simple mission to help women entrepreneurs succeed. Through my business coaching, I am able to come alongside women in many fields. Bloggers, online boutiques, business owners, creatives and brick and mortar business women alike. I offer several coaching plans as well as e-courses for those whom prefer to be self-paced.

Where is your business based?
I am blessed to be located in sunny northern Florida. However, my business is virtual and I serve anyone who speaks English.
What were the first few steps you took to get your business up and running?
After I completed my life coaching degree, branding was next on my list. Hiring a professional web designer and graphic designer was very important to me. Knowing my niche and ideal client was huge in the beginning so that my branding and messaging was in line right away. Once that was all in place, it was time to start getting clients!
What has been the most effective way of raising awareness of your business and getting new customers?
Social media and building my email list was a huge factor, but I believe in relationships so getting validation of my success was very important. Just putting myself out there, offering to public speak for local or online events, partnering with other businesses to raise awareness, etc.
What have been your biggest challenges so far?
The biggest challenge over the years has been getting and keeping consistent clients. Signing a steady stream of new clients month after month is the hardest part.
How did you overcome these challenges?
I believe personal growth is huge. I invest in myself to help overcome challenges. I also have a business mentor and coach to help me continue to grow for myself and my clients. Having accountability is huge as well!
How do you keep motivated through difficult times?
Mindset is huge when it comes to staying positive and motivated. Always set goals and celebrate even the smallest wins.
How do you distinguish yourself from your competitors?
I am very passionate about my clients’ success. What sets me apart is that I truly dive deep into my clients business as if it were my own. Their success is my success and I take every client into my heart and mind to truly be there for them and provide service to them that will meet their needs. I do not do “cookie cutter coaching”, each client looks differently and I will treat them accordingly.
What is the best advice you have received recently?
Do not wait for things to be perfect. It will never be perfect and you will wait forever. In the meantime your peers and competition will be stealing your customers while you wait for things to be perfect. You are leaving money on the table!
What advice would you give to other entrepreneurs?
I would tell them that no matter what their business is, they are an EXPERT in what they do. They need to think and act like an expert in their field and they need to build upon that!
What are your favorite business tools/resources and why?
Oh I have a ton of favorite resources. I love Canva, Teachable, Convertkit and Trello.
What is a good article or book you have read recently?
“SEO for Growth” is an amazing book that everyone in business needs to have!
What are you currently learning about for your business or looking for help with?
Right now I am in the process of studying all I can about how to leverage FB Live for my business.
What are your goals for the next few months and how are you striving to achieve them?
My goals for the next few months is to sign 2 new clients each month! Getting people to book their free discovery call with me is huge for this!
