What motivated and inspired you to start your own business?
I wanted be the change.
Today we live in a world largely run by companies that unfortunately all too often put profit before people. Go to a doctor for almost any issue and you’ll walk out with a diagnosis and prescription and still having no clue why your symptoms occurred or how to prevent them in the future.
I wanted to heal myself and that healing transformed into helping others heal too. The body is a magnificent thing, if we learn to listen to it the results are amazing.
Tell us about your business.
My business spawned because I was tired of seeing people suffering.
Tired of seeing people experiencing symptoms we all to often refer to in today’s world as “normal” and living with issues such as skin problems (acne, psoriasis, rosacea, dermatitis), digestive issues (IBS, constipation, bloating, gas), weight imbalances, hormones imbalance, chronic fatigue and more.
I help individuals understand the ROOT cause of their suffering, be it mental, physical or spiritual. As a nutritional therapist, I help people recognize the deep seeds within that create the patterns and habits that manifest in our bodies and our minds. The outside is just a manifestation of the inside.
My work is primarily with women. I help them move beyond their blockages (mental, physical or emotional) enabling them to truly step into their full potential – enhancing their connection to their body, mind and spirit. In the end, this positively affects their relationships, work life and personal life.

Where is your business based?
Beautifully living location-independent, I work with people from around the world. Currently however I am teaching at Laguna De Apoyo at a retreat space in Nicaragua.
What were the first few steps you took to get your business up and running?
It really all comes down to belief. I had to leave everything I had been taught to want behind and embrace the unknown. I left with a strong intention to not be confined by space and time. I wanted to continue to study and learn from the great teachers, religions and cultures around the world.
The online world has been an incredibly challenging journey, there are SO many variables one doesn’t think about when transitioning from location-dependent to location-independent. I’ve got to admit, I am a lot better with working with humans versus a computer, but thankfully I’ve had help along the way and a great community that supports me.
What has been the most effective way of raising awareness of your business and getting new customers?
Learning the world of social media is the only way to go when you are location independent. It also helps that I am often teaching at different places around the world with clients who are already seeking self-growth and personal development.
What have been your biggest challenges so far?
Turning my business from an in person, in the classroom, in the community, to online has definitely been a big challenge. I never really saw myself being in front of a computer as much as I have been and working with technology glitches definitely catches me up sometimes. Not to mention sometimes I have technological difficulties and am living in places like India or the Nicaraguan jungle… tech support isn’t just a phone call away.
How did you overcome these challenges?
At the end of the day if you believe in something enough, you’ve got to give it all you’ve got. I ask the Universe to guide me. I reach out to friends and I spend time alone in mediation and in my yoga practice – staples to keeping my sanity ;).
How do you keep motivated through difficult times?
Visualizing the outcome, knowing how many people I have helped, and how many more people out there that are seeking this help.
How do you distinguish yourself from your competitors?
I treat individuals. Each person is unique, has their own needs and I do my best to help customize our experience together so that they are getting the customization their body needs.
What is the best advice you have received recently?
Share your message with the world, you never know how many lives you could change by being open, real, raw and authentic. Get yourself out there, the world needs you – YOU MATTER.
What advice would you give to other entrepreneurs?
Life is better when we support each other. The online and entrepreneurial world can be tough, if we give each other a hand we have the opportunity to lift one another up and embrace each other making the experience easier of us all! After all, we are all blessed with different skills, lets come together and make magic! #teamworkmakesthedreamwork.
What is your favorite business tool or resource?
Just hopped on Melyssa Griffin’s Pinfinite growth course and so far, I’m loving it !
What is a good article or book you have read recently?
“Sex Matters: From Sex to Superconsciousness” by Rajneesh.
What are you currently learning about for your business or looking for help with?
Social Media and outreach! In the process of manifesting the best avenues to find those who are seeking relief and are ready to put in the time and effort it takes to get there.
What are your goals for the next few months and how are you striving to achieve them?
Growing my online cOMmunity! Helping bring more like minded people together who are interested in learning about themselves and their bodies from a holistic perspective. I’ve got a FB group of about 500 strong and there is always room for more.
